LEOPARD
There are two types of prints that are constant in my closet. FLORALS & LEOPARD. Floral prints for the Spring/Summer and leopard for the Fall/Winter. For the hotter season, I aim to look pretty and feminine. The colours worn consists of softer tones such as lilac, blush pink, off-white and mint green. Everything found in my closet contains floral prints from my dresses, skirts, palazzo pants, kimonos and jumpsuits. For the cooler season, I have a thing where I want to look more masculine and pull off the bad arse vibes. For example, I always tell my hair stylist to transition my balayage hair from beach babe vibes to grungy rock star. The grunge look consists of growing out my natural dark roots, a full head of foils in warm tones and light blonde pieces framing my face. For my fall/winter looks, I wear a lot of blacks and greys as my base. Now I’m not much of a minimalist when it comes to style. I love to add some flavour to my look! It’s only sammysamstyle when there’s a pop of colour or a bold print. My go-to statement piece has to be my leopard fur coat from Zara. I love my fur coat!! This baby has been with me for several years now and every time I wear it out, I receive plenty of compliments. It’s a staple piece I can keep with me for numerous years and guaranteed, it will never go out of style. If you have a leopard item in your closet that you love, make sure to keep it! I find that leopard prints are always in style especially, when the fall season comes around. Real talk! Looking like a rock star never goes out of style for me!
For my trip to Bali, I had five to six looks I wanted to pull off for my photo shoot. One of the look was this beautiful leopard dress I found online at H&M. Lucky for me, I got this dress on sale for $17.99 CAD! I had my eye on this particular dress in red but the colour sold out! Now, I’m not mad about this purchase because this dress looks killa with my tan and it looks pretty dope with the tropical background! It really gives off the leopard on the loose kind of vibes! What I love about this dress is definitely the leopard print, as well, the revealing side slit which showcases my tanned legs and I’m really diggin’ the low back. With this dress, there’s no need to save the leopard prints for the cooler season, I can wear leopard for all seasons!
